What this site does and doesn’t do
General information only
This website explains how construction payment, lien and contract problems tend to work. It is general information, not legal advice. Laws and deadlines differ by state and by job, and they change. Don’t act, or decide not to act, on what you read here without talking to a lawyer about your own job.
No attorney-client relationship yet
Reading this site, calling, texting, emailing or sending a form doesn’t make you a client of Ledezma Law. That begins only when we both sign a written agreement. Until then I haven’t agreed to represent you, and no deadline is being watched on your behalf.
Past results and sample comments
Comments from clients and descriptions of matters are samples. Every matter turns on its own facts, and how one ended doesn’t predict how yours will. No lawyer can promise that a lien will be valid, a claim will be paid or a dispute will settle.
Confidential information
Please don’t send confidential details through the forms on this site, by text or by email before we’ve talked and I’ve said it’s safe to. Messages sent before then may not be protected.
